Author Guidelines

GRETA Journal welcomes original work in English and Spanish on English language teaching and applied linguistics. Submissions are open for the new publication phase, whose first issue is planned for January 2027, with two issues per year. The journal is published by Lumina Literati Publishing, is self-funded, and remains completely free for authors and readers.

Editors screen submissions for scope, originality and suitability. Research articles that pass this stage undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

Upload an anonymised manuscript with author names, affiliations, acknowledgements and identifying file metadata removed. Provide a separate title page with the details of all authors and the corresponding author.

Include a clear title, abstract, keywords, complete references, numbered tables and figures, and relevant funding, competing-interest, ethics and data-availability statements. Obtain permission for third-party material and approval from all authors.

Each corresponding author may have only one active manuscript at a time. Accepted manuscripts remain active until published; rejection or withdrawal allows a new submission. This is checked during initial editorial screening and does not apply merely because a person is a co-author.

See the author guidelines, submission information and full journal policies.

Submission Preparation Checklist

By submitting, I confirm that:

The manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.
All authors approve the submission, author order and listed affiliations.
The corresponding author has no other active manuscript at GRETA Journal; accepted manuscripts remain active until publication, while rejected or withdrawn manuscripts do not block a new submission.
The manuscript and its file metadata are anonymised for double-anonymous review, with identifying information in a separate title page.
References, tables and figures are complete and checked, and permissions for third-party material have been obtained.
Relevant ethics approvals, funding, conflicts of interest and data availability information are disclosed.
I have read the author guidelines and journal policies.
